Job Summary
Position includes responsibility for several integrated systems and business processes while providing insights into workflow and process improvement. Additionally, the position includes management of a small team with varying support responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions
• Coordinate the development and introduction of the various phases of technology.
• Responsible for all related activities required for optimizing the service delivery process (problem management, service delivery reports, customer satisfaction surveys, web content development, etc.)
• Coordinates with business partners to recommend solutions to meet business goals and objectives.
• Responsible for assisting other departments in the development and implementation of technical strategies and plans using technology; responsible for developing technical project plans for implementation of new systems.
• Assists in the gathering and analyzing of data and metrics to determine project success and makes recommendations to improve success.
• Develops a partnership with the business partners to communicate and clarify requirements.
• Contributes to the development of long-range business plans and ensure products and services are aligned with business needs.
• Evaluates vendor proposals for the acquisition of computer systems and technical services for applicability; and assists in the coordination of vendor technical involvement in the planning, installation, and implementation of systems/processes.
• Provides regular written and verbal status reports on all new and ongoing projects Responsible for maintaining the quality control of projects, such as actions, issues, minutes, anomalies, PSTs, problems, change, and risk.
• Responsible for insuring the proper development of methods and practices for effective control and management of systems.
• Provides senior level oversight/support.
Physical Actions
Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying 20 lbs. Maximum, bending, talking, hearing, reaching and driving.
Physical Environment
Job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment. Job occasionally requires trips to vendors.
Education Requirements
4 year college degree/Bachelor’s degree
Experience Requirements
• 6+ years of IT / Business process experience including process modeling and improvement
• Experience working on multiple agile development projects
• People manager able to manage/coach small teams as well as lead small to mid-size project efforts
• Experience and ability to work across IT departments/business units/teams as an influencer and leader
• CRM implementation experience
Special Skill Requirement
• Good understanding of business application architecture and application development methodologies.
• Experience working directly with business partners at varying levels as well as within IT
• Excellent communication and presentation skills including PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
• Six Sigma process improvement mindset
• Self-starter, highly motivated individual with a constant desire to learn
