Global Vendor Relationship Manager
We are currently seeking a Vendor Relationship Manager to join our dynamic Global HRIS team
Our Vendor Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and managing system vendor relationships effectively and implementing rigorous controls to manage any service delivery risk, obtaining best value from negotiated contracts and improving delivery efficiencies through collaborative working with vendors. You will be the liaison between external system vendors and internal functions within JLL.
Responsibilities:
• Build strategic relationships with relevant system vendors and ensure that vendors are appropriately engaged
• Negotiate pricing and contracts with system vendors and work with procurement to secure agreements
• Set up a structured vendor management in place e.g. periodic SLA review, raising monthly invoices, etc.
• Manage overall performance of system vendor service in relation to key performance and financial indicators in addition to change in services
• Manage development and completion of system vendor and process integrations between the business and system vendor platforms
• Ensure appropriate issue/problem escalation processes are in place between external system vendors and internal functions within JLL. Monitor the processes to ensure effective governance and solutioning
• Manage the process for major incident reviews and system vendor escalations to ensure system vendors improve their services following issues
• Develop continuous service improvement plans in collaboration with the system vendors using feedback from users of system vendor services
• Present performance benchmarking and work with all relevant parties to identify and implement opportunities for improvement
• Manage interaction between system vendors and internal program delivery leaders to provide adequate visibility of interdependent initiatives and programs
• Manage outward communication to system vendors to support understanding and awareness of JLL’s strategic direction, changes and challenges
• Interact with business stakeholders to provide a formal updates on execution timelines and delivery as appropriate
• Work with IT and HR Direct to identify further opportunities for working in partnership with system vendors to deliver strategic objectives
• Identify and implement change communication mechanisms with appropriate compliance
Required skills & experience:
• Sound understanding of system and business process integrations (preferably Workday)
• Risk management skills, with the ability to analyse, anticipate and balance risks and responses
• The ability to understand, interpret and apply legal and regulatory information
• Strong interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of employees and management
• Highly developed influencing and negotiation skills to manage third parties
• Excellent time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritise
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Essential qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
• 3+ years working in an systems vendor relationship management role, or within a IT service delivery role with significant vendor management responsibilities in a complex organisation
• Extensive experience working with and managing global system vendor relationships
• Significant exposure to systems procurement and contract management
• Knowledge of risk and compliance and audit competencies
• Ability to travel globally
