Prudential's Group Insurance Employer Service Organization is seeking a Manager who is accountable for leading operational functions accountable for Accounts Receivable, Suspense Management, financial transactional processing, and Billing GI Customers across all product types and market segments (Premier and National Accounts).
Responsibilities include:
• Effectively mobilizing resources to achieve intended result; establishing metrics to define, gauge progress and help drive and influence business decisions, process improvements and consistency.
• Continued development, monitoring, and attainment of established metrics and quality trends related to financial transactional processing.
• Development and implementation of appropriate business procedures for the unit, supports the design of the appropriate organizational structure and staffing models (including actual hiring, training and retaining of associates), ensuring that the unit's structure and processes are properly aligned with business goals.
• Provides leadership, motivation, technical and risk management expertise, and drives employee engagement and talent development ensuring people are in the right roles, while fostering a sense of teamwork, success, and positive morale.
• Responsibility for coaching, development and overall performance management of the team.
• Support strategic projects aligned with Group Insurance priorities.
Qualifications
• 3 - 5 years in leading a staff in a fast-paced, metric-driven, rapidly changing environment is preferred.
• Proven track record leading within a business process outsourced environment and has experience overseeing vendor relationships.
• Proven leadership capabilities including strategic thinking skills, problem solving and ability to partner with and influence others without having a direct line of authority.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and balancing competing priorities.
• College degree or equivalent work experience in business operations is preferred.
• Ability to consult and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and capable of interacting with all levels of Prudential associates.
• Must have experience preparing, presenting, and communicating information to management and senior leadership teams.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and other MS tools.
• Innate sense of urgency and the ability to make smart decisions under pressure.
• Demonstrated strong customer focus.
• Can translate daily activity into the long-term impact on Group Insurance’s Critical Priorities.
