This position reports to the Managing Executive Relationship Manager and will work closely with the Relationship Managers and their respective regional leadership teams.
What You'll Be Doing:
Partner with the Relationship Management team to ensure that all clients’ needs are met.
Prepare communication to VALIC field and Home Office regarding group set up, reporting, annual reviews, etc.; respond to questions/requests, and obtain information necessary to accomplish primary objectives.
Coordinate the planning, implementing and monitoring of special projects.
Work with Marketing Communications and other departments to coordinate participant communication.
Utilize retirement plan knowledge of plan documents and plan provisions to prepare enrollment materials, including forms and plan highlights, and ongoing participant communication.
Use the print-on-demand system to order enrollment books and upload forms to E-Print for mutual fund plans.
Have an advanced understanding of VALIC systems and other reporting tools to include but not limited to: V-System, AGILENET, Plan Sponsor Online: Annuity & Mutual Fund, Discovery, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Develop a mastery of other systems, including Newkirk, Fluenttech, and iPod, VALIC’s enrollment book system.
Qualification Summary
Minimum 5 years’ experience with financial reporting; Associate's Degree or relevant experience preferred.
Demonstrate effectiveness in dealing with requests from multiple constituencies simultaneously; ability to multi-task is critical.
Must demonstrate a basic knowledge of ERISA and succeeding legislation governing qualified pension plan types.
An understanding / proficiency in using VALIC's internal reporting systems is a must.
