The Inside Sales Desk Associate will receive sales coaching and instruction while working in a hands-on environment that will test all your skills. Nasdaq will provide a strong foundation to arm you with the core fundamentals necessary to become our next generation of top sales performers. You will have the chance to learn and work with all the segments we support including Investor Relations and Board & Leadership solutions. You’ll spend time with an energetic and lively group of colleagues while learning from a management team deeply vested in helping you succeed.
The Inside Sales Desk Associate will be responsible for:
• Support the Senior Sales Executives to identify key areas of opportunities in the market.
• Prospect potential clients by leveraging internal and external relationships. Schedule meetings and perform demonstrations for senior sales team when required.
• Supports the Senior Sales Executives in closing deals in order to meet individual/team quotas and company business objectives.
• Generate contracts and ensure high quality client interactions.
• Manage prospect list for each region. Maintain campaign lists and ensure outbound activity to prospects across multiple campaigns.
• Responds to escalated customer issues.
• Develop a deep understanding of Capital Markets, Investor Relations and Board & Leadership solutions.
• Process Service Requests and Contracts within CRM.
• Proactively take on new initiatives and exhibit a curiosity for learning.
• Aim to excel in the role so you can be promoted to the next sales position at Nasdaq.
Education
• Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or marketing/sales
• Experience Required: At least 0 to 2 years

• Learns the fundamentals of customer retention, including how to identify valuable customers and their basic needs.
• Develops basic understanding of standard Nasdaq offerings and major areas of expertise.
• Develops a basic understanding of standard Nasdaq products, technologies and offerings.
• Develops a basic understanding of competitors’ standard products and services.
• Participates in dialogue with assigned customers.
• Participates in the communication with the internal team.
• Gains insight to external trends (i.e. business trends, regulatory issues, global implications) to contribute to the anticipation of customers’ needs.
• Collaborates with colleagues and customers to assess customers’ immediate needs.
• Under direct supervision assists customers through the sales process (pre-sale through post-sale).
• Understands the other roles that are part of the sales process (e.g., sales support) and collaborates with the right individuals with the right information at the right time.
• Under direct supervision assists in presenting deal scenarios to the customer that focus on how Nasdaq can best address their future business challenges.
• Develops an understanding for sales performance and the strongest and weakest customers, bestselling products, and successful sales techniques.
