What does a great Market Manager do?
We are looking for a Market Manager to join our Fiserv Biller Solutions team. This role will establish and develop expected level of sales through the education, development, and dedicated management of clients and prospective clients.
As a Market Manager, you can look forward to:
• Supporting the achievement of CheckFreePay’s agent growth plan strategy through the signing, activating, training of new retail agents for CheckFreePay's authorized and universal walk-in bill pay businesses, and to grow the business by continuously fostering the new & existing agents.
• Signing, activating and training new retail agent locations in assigned key cities, towns and zip code areas based on the company’s business and budget needs.
• Leading and fostering the assigned agent network to increase same store sales and reduce agent attrition.
• Analyzing company and market data to reinforce or correct market and/or agency performance trends & capitalize on market opportunities.
• Routine sales calls on agent decision-makers, which is based on the size and potential of agent’s business, to build leveraged relationships.
• Ensuring Marketing plans are executed at retail and develops self / agent conceived plans to support transaction growth.
• Supporting all related departments at Headquarters to ensure that agents align with policies and procedures in service, accounting, banking, compliance, etc.
• Securing category & competitive market information in a timely fashion (i.e. Biller availability, features/functionality, competitive pricing, etc.).
• Ensuring all company property is used in a reasonable & professional manner, ensuring all maintenance schedules are adhered to.
• Responsible for the successful achievement of quarterly quota as settled by management and based on geographic region.
You’re the kind of person with:
• Strong interpersonal skills and high degree of integrity.
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• In-person presentation skills.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
• 4-year college degree or comparable business experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Ability to travel – 60%.
• Must have own reliable transportation, valid drivers' license, auto insurance, and good driving record.
• Ability to travel both within existing assigned territory as well as to other regions / territories as needed.
• Computer-literate with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
• Fluency in Spanish a plus.
• Route sales and/or cold calling experience in retail distribution a plus.
