OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking a full-cycle Contract Recruiter to join our Recruiting team for roles in Canada and the United States. This position will partner with both the Talent Acquisition team and leadership across the assigned groups to be seen as a partner and will drive the recruitment process, source and screen candidates through the hiring process and coach hiring teams on good recruitment practices. Your primary focus will be filling high volume positions and prioritizing workload to meet multiple deadlines for a fast-paced business unit. This highly attractive position will possess a flexible work arrangement with the ability to work from home.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Work with the HR Business Partner and/or business unit managers to clarify job specifications and requirements to fill current and future hiring needs
• Utilize internet, employee referrals and social networking to identify and contact qualified applicants for position
• Develop new sources to identify and proactively build a warm bench of talent, conduct initial call to potential candidate
• Create key measures of success and provide regular reporting and analysis of recruiting effort
• Support Affirmative Action/Diversity initiatives
EDUCATION
• Minimum of 3-5 years recruitment experience, search firm experience a plus
• Ability to establish relationships with all levels of an organization
• Team player who can also work independently and multitask
• Experience working in a fast paced environment
• Proven track record of results and drive to learning
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, Workday a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Ability to deliver quality results within the expected time frame
• Maintains integrity of recruiting process
• Drive for results
• Balance of emotional, intellectual and business acumen
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and situations/cool under pressure
• Strong skills in client relationship management
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Forms relationships quickly; is naturally inquisitive
• Quickly understands the needs of the candidate and hiring manager
• Solid expertise in a variety of research methods specific to recruiting. Must be able to cold call and compile qualifications based on position profile
• Maintains strong knowledge of competition and advises on potential trends that may influence recruiting
