Sr. Project Manager
I. JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director, Project Management, the Sr. Project Manager is responsible for the operational, tactical and strategic leadership of cross functional team that maintains a defined technology software product. This role focuses on planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. A Sr. Project Manager must have the ability to identify and prioritize a broad spectrum of activities and be able to resolve issues as they arise.
II. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and maintain project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring business and technical feasibility
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Will manage multiple projects at the same time
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as required
• Identify, manage, and resolve project issues and risks. Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Establish and manage relationships with clients, team members, vendors, and stakeholders
• Coordinate internal and external resources for the successful execution of projects
• Execute an efficient communication strategy for ensuring communication with all stakeholders and project team members
• Work with business partners providing strategic insight and a value add collaborative partnership
• Provide coaching and guidance to the team members about every aspect of the project so that the team members can understand their tasks fully and act on them efficiently
• Mentor, train, and guide Project Managers and Business Analysts
• Build and implement best practices for project management and execution
• Create spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document requirements
• Perform other related duties as assigned
III. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a project management role
• Experience in Mortgage, Banking, or Loan Servicing preferred
• Extensive experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities while exceeding customer expectations
• Expertise in issue and conflict resolution
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent requirement and process documentation skills
• Ability to perform in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent PC skills, including Office or similar productivity suites. Ability to learn additional programs as required to complete job responsibilities
• Must be able to work off hours as required to complete job duties.
