Baker Tilly Vantagen, a subsidiary of Baker Tilly LLC, provides third-party benefits enrollment and administrative support to middle market employers representing a wide variety of businesses and industries.
We are currently seeking a skilled Benefits Specialist to support our growing Employee Benefits Administration practice.

Responsibilities
The Benefits Specialist will provide administrative and client service support for a variety of Benefits Administration deliverables, such as:
• Processing weekly employee benefits enrollments, terminations and changes with insurance carriers and client payroll systems.
• Handling employee and direct HR contact telephone and email inquiries about benefits matters.
• Providing processing and fulfillment support for client annual open enrollment periods.
• Communicating with client contacts, insurer contacts and other third parties to resolve employee benefit issues.
• Completing scheduled, assigned client deliverables on a consistent and timely basis
• Providing occasional onsite representation at client annual open enrollment meetings and benefit fairs.
• Participating in ongoing client servicing reviews (primarily web/teleconference, occasionally onsite).
Qualifications
• A successful candidate will have 1-3 years of experiencein the customer service, data processing, human resources or insurance-related fields
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office programs, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent customer service skills are required, as the position will interface with consumers and external clients
• Strong organizational and communications abilities are critical to success in this position, as team members are expected to manage multiple priorities and work with a moderate amount of supervision and interface directly with clients
• A valid driver’s license is required
