At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Create visual concepts, not directly manipulating GEOINT products, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers.
• Develop overall layout and production design for various applications such as advertisements, brochures, fact sheets and corporate reports.
• Use variety of design elements to achieve artistic or decorative effects, combine art and technology to communicate ideas through images and the layout of websites and printed pages.
• Work with both text and images. Select the type, font, size, color, and line length of headlines, headings, and text. Decide how images and text will go together on a print or webpage, including how much space each will have.
• Collaborate closely with writers who choose the words and decide whether the words will be put into paragraphs, lists, or tables.
• Through the use of images, text, and color, transform statistical data into visual graphics and diagrams, which can make complex ideas more accessible.
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
• Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
Qualifications
• TS/SCI CI Poly required.
• BS and minimum 7 yrs exp.
• Demonstrates analytic, communication and time-management skills.
• Possess creative and artistic ability.
• Possess detailed knowledge of the full functionality of graphic design software like Adobe Master Collection CS5, and the designing of products for printing on digital press and web.
• Experience in developing and implementing creative visual and strategic solutions from scientific presentations to websites to online productivity tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
• U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
• Travel may be required.
• Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
• Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
• Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
