POSITION SUMMARY:
The objective of this role is to effectively lead a nationwide team of high-performing analysts that support Individual Advisory Services (IAS) field leaders in managing their practices.
This Business Manager role will own diverse business management functions in support of sales and service leadership including: Performance metrics and analytics, practice management support, business management routines, space planning, headcount operations, book of business analysis, and institutional reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Lead, support, and coach Regional Business Management Specialist team.
• Build and manage relationships with IAS field leaders at territory, region, and national level.
• Act as subject matter expert for a wide variety of subject matters including but not limited to metrics, reporting, and analytics.
• Present themes and key findings to field leadership, business management and executive leadership.
• Develop best practices for national business management team and find areas for efficiency gains across regional analyst team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 4 – 6 years’ related experience
• Able to manage business analytics management routines with a focus on efficiency and value add to the business.
• High Levels of relationship management and consultative skills to interface with senior leaders.
• Superior analytical skills including the ability to tell stories with data.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio)
• Able to provide examples of above routine management, relationship management, and analytical skillsets.
Desired Qualifications:
• Background in financial services, wealth management, investments, or capital markets preferred
• Previous managerial experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, time management, and organizational skills
• Capability to work independently and demonstrate urgency in a fast paced environment
• Superb verbal and written communication skills,
• Ability to influence and present to field leadership.
• Knowledge of various analytical tools (OBIE, Tableau, SiSense) and SQL is a plus.
