The Content Strategy Manager is responsible for writing, maintaining and governing all TMF Group digital content and advising on how it performs and should be optimised. They will ensure that content stays current, increase web‐traffic and sales enquiries and be the first point of contact for global digital content enquiries.
Key responsibilities
• Creating all digital content and imagery to be used on the site to agreed deadlines
• Oversight of purpose and effectiveness of core web pages
• Working with internal and external stakeholders in the creation of dynamic content that reflects the TMF Group brand
• Ensuring that all pages on the website are built with the correct tone of voice and are appropriate for all devices, including mobile.
• Expert in SEO. Understanding of how content informs the customer journey and the need to appeal and segment to our target personas
• Maintaining Content and Technical Guidelines at all times – governing all digital content and ensuring it is produced to the highest standards and avoids reputational damage
• Being responsible for owning the digital content approvals process – knowing when to get sign off from senior stakeholders and Legal
• Turning complex concepts into concise and compelling copy, considering things like tone, clarity and scannability.
• Monitoring how content performs, in line with Marketing campaign focus, and making recommendations on which content is working well
• Analysing how our audiences engage with our website content in order to inform future content production.
• Working collaboratively with the demand centre to ensure that all content is engaging to our target personas.
• Working with and coordinating new Content Hub
• Working in the Communications Team with a dotted line to the Digital team
• Writing, editing and proofreading existing text
• Creating and maintaining digital content calendars and plans
• Attending content planning meetings with colleagues from the wider Marketing team
• Keeping up-to-date with developments in Digital Marketing
• Contributing to the development of new online resources and projects
• Undertaking customer and competitor research to identify content gaps
Knowledge and experience
• Proven work experience as a Digital Content Manager
• Experience of carrying out content audits and inventories
• Experience of optimising website content for SEO
• Excellent written English and strong experience of writing for digital audiences
• Significant experience of advising on digital content performance
• Excellent understanding of digital marketing – in particular working experience of tools such as Google Analytics
• Experience of maintaining high standards and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in the governance and quality control of all content
• The ability to build and maintain a personal and good relationship with key stakeholders (internal and external)
• Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams
• Problem solving ability
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and plan work effectively
• Ability to grasp multiple technical systems quickly
