Jackson National Life Distributors LLC (JNLD) has an opening for a Marketing/Communications Operations Coordinator.
Job Purpose
The Marketing Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the development, production, and review of Marketing and Communications materials, sales kits, and marketing projects/campaigns. Works closely with internal partners and external vendors ensure that materials are compliant, up-to-date, and adequate inventory levels are available at the fulfillment distribution center. Also, this individual will coordinate the print and fulfillment requirements and timely delivery of materials.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Coordinates and assists in the trafficking, production, and budgets for assigned materials and projects from development through completion. Works with internal partners and external vendors.
• Tracks compliance and product comments are reflected in materials and documented in all internal platforms as necessary.
• Tracks project timelines and escalates issues requiring attention with a high level of urgency.
• Manages regulatory reports, such as 2-year rule reports, and initiates material changes, as necessary.
• Tracks and manages firm and state approvals and makes updates to the job workflow/content management systems.
• Sets-up materials in the fulfillment platform and manages all product, state, firm, and broker- dealer ordering restrictions, as applicable.
• Assists in the programming and testing of customizable and dynamic marketing materials.
• Manages and analyzes inventory levels and tracks low stock, back order, and obsolete/replace alerts; and initiates inventory reprints, as necessary.
• Manages the performance of the fulfillment platform and assists in platform enhancements/changes.
• Manages the updates and accuracy of kit builds and fulfillment plans and works closely with the fulfillment vendor to ensure the appropriate updates are completed by the due dates.
• Updates and maintains production workflow processes and contingency plans.
• Assists in state, compliance, and legal audits.
• Assists in vendor management, and direct mail and email campaigns. Pulls and scrubs mailings lists.
• Develops and maintains relationships with the sales force and proactively communicates and assists with marketing and/or fulfillment issues and training.
• Remains abreast of changing compliance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Knowledge of the marketing production, fulfillment and print processes.
• Knowledge/familiarity with project management software, databases, and inventory control systems.
• High level of understanding of the creative process with an ability to manage client expectations in easy-to-understand terms.
• Ability to work in a deadline driven environment with a willingness to be part of a fast-paced, dynamic team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
• Inventory management experience preferred.
• Ability to follow-up, multi-task and work effectively and successfully on simultaneous projects with tight and changing priorities, scope and timelines/deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.). OneNote strongly preferred.
• Macintosh platform experience preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized and focused on accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills – able to work independently or as part of a team, and to liaise effectively with clients across the enterprise.
• Ability to travel as required for on-site vendor meetings.
• Overtime may be required, but limited.
Education and Experience Required
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years work experience in the financial industry and/or marketing/ad agency environment.
• Familiar with CRMs.
