Description
Position Goals:
Perform accounting functions to process various transactions as they relate to Accounts Payable and other Finance activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work within a team of four Accounts Payable Associates; rotate responsibilities to ensure invoices are paid accurately and timely.
2. Process accounts payable transactions and entries, includes:
• Supply and review general ledger information and vendor code
• process invoices and vouchers for payment,
• generate check
• verify checks prior to distribution
• barcode and image invoices
• research on payments or invoices, as needed
• review AP specific GL accounts
• work with Exceptions on daily unposted transactions
3. Take on additional responsibilities and assist in projects as required.

Requirements
Position Requirements:
Education - Specialized training beyond high school in accounting, finance, business or a related field.
Experience - Over one (1) year of accounting, bookkeeping or related experience.
Preferred Requirements:
Associate degree in accounting or finance.
