Primary Responsibilities:
• Monitor and reconcile cash activity for multiple investment products
• Reconcile and record investment balances and transactions
• Analyze financial statements
• Update and maintain accounting system through inputs and uploads
• Review and reconcile various reports provided by 3rd party accounting vendor including: Financial Statements, Investment Holding Reports, Partnership Allocations, Partner Statements and Notifications, various excel workbooks
• Manage multiple deadlines and coordinate timing with accounting vendor
• Interpret legal governing documents and accounting pronouncements
Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in the Accounting and/or Audit fields
• Licensed CPA (or CPA candidate) preferred
• Prior experience with high-level review of legal documents
• Detail oriented, analytical, and a quick learner
• Flexible in meeting demands of various stakeholders
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to follow structured processes as well as complete ad hoc requests and projects
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
