POSITION SUMMARY: Support and maintain a modern and growing HQ staff of 300 for PC hardware, software, O365, SharePoint environment including basic networking, access management. Resolve technical issues regarding hardware/software
installations, set-ups, error messages, on-line transactions, systems status and downtime procedures. Provides preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and quick resolutions.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Recommend and/or perform upgrades on desktop/laptop systems to ensure uptime
• Participate in office buildouts, office relocations and desk moves
• Ensure all approved desktops, laptops and peripheral hardware are accurately inventoried and correctly assigned. Perform spot checks for verification to help with the asset management lifecycle
• Understand, implement & ensure adherence to security policies on key business and enterprise servers
• Configure, document, support & troubleshoot MS Windows networking and interoperation for the enterprise
• Work with LANDesk Administrator to install, monitor and maintain Microsoft Windows security patch releases consistent with standards
• Responsible for providing hands-on field work / hardware repair and maintenance during and after hours
• Ensures user satisfaction by providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and quickly resolving routine to moderately complex problems escalated by the Service Desk and Risk Management
• Documents all efforts in the troubleshooting and problem resolution process to assist in the development /maintenance of a knowledge base for future problem resolution
• Maintain relationship with vendor technical support for troubleshooting and problem resolution of key business and enterprise application issues
• Incorporate new facilities and/or servers into the Active Directory Domain
• Provide cutover support for new systems

Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
• Computer Science studies, a bachelor’s degree preferred
• Ability to identify, problem solve and exercise exceptional use of good judgment with respect to issues / circumstances as they arise
• Minimum of 5 years of IT including 3 years’ experience of Desktop/Hardware and Helpdesk support.
• Experience in banking environments is highly preferred
• Expertise supporting and using Windows 7 and Windows 10 Enterprise, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365 and Symantec Endpoint Protection is required
• A+ Certification required
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Team oriented individual
• Position may require the need to visit other Chicago area branch or meeting locations
• Must have flexible after-hours availability for implementation and deployment tasks
• SQL knowledge highly preferred but not required
