KPMG is currently seeking a Strategy Director to join our Strategy practice:
Responsibilities:
• Serving as a key advisor, identify and direct enterprise-wide strategy projects and oversee execution of related deliverables for the consumer credit cards/consumer paymenst market
• Help lead business development initiatives focused on Strategy including targeting key C- level individuals, proposing our services and closing opportunities
• Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing strategic roadmaps, managing key interviews, leading workshops, and conducting industry research through secondary and primary resources
• Work closely with the engagement Partner/Managing Director to help build relationships with clients
• Provide oversight of highly skilled KPMG work teams throughout the project lifecycle and serve as the primary team interface with various levels of executives and team members
• Manage the presentation of final project deliverables and advise persuasively, earning the position of a trusted advisor
Qualifications:
• A minimum of eight years external consulting experience in a client-facing strategy discipline at a major strategy, boutique strategy or Big 4 firm, with a deep focus on serving Financial Services clients in a senior level advisory capacity, specifically in the consumer credit card business
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field; Master’s degree in Business Administration from an accredited college/university is preferred
• Deep knowledge of the Financial Services industry with the flexibility and adaptability to advise clients across a range of relevant topics
• Strong proficiency in consumer credit card strategy transformation, including acquisition, retention, pricing, digital labor, and customer experience is required
• Experience in strategic growth, or other relevant strategy experience, including but not limited to consumer credit card model and technology disruption, digital transformation, Fintech proliferation, customer experience, data and analytics
• Strong business acumen, analytical/problem solving skills, and the ability to understand how business model decisions impact operating model design/execution across operations, technology, risk governance, and organizational design in credit cards /consumer payments; Ability to travel at as needed for client work
