Human Resources Manager
This position performs senior level human resources activities and partners with Management to help build and deliver business strategies. There is a strong focus on creating a positive employee experience, employee engagement and driving company culture. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to, employee relations, training and development of direct reports and performance management. Job functions include but are not limited to:
• Partner with Business Leaders to provide daily support on all facets of human resources.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures.
• Communicate and deliver company driven programs (e.g. annual review, incentive plans, etc.) to management and employees.
• Assist management team with performance issues to ensure proper Human Resources procedures are followed and all documentation requirements are met.
• Maintain a current knowledge of the company business as it grows and changes.
• Investigation and resolution of elevated employee relation issues.
• Ensure the company is in compliance with all Federal and State Law requirements (e.g. FMLA, ADA, Civil Rights Act, etc) pertaining to employment.
• Provide support and counseling on Human Resources policy issues.
• Assist employees with mentoring and coaching, including career counseling.
• Participation in ISO requirements and continuous improvement activities.
• Conduct exit interviews. Determine and track root cause of employee turnover.
• Supervise Human Resources Generalist(s) and/or Human Resources Administrative staff.
• Coach, mentor and train subordinate staff
Essential Qualifications:
• Bachelors in Business, Human Resource Management or related experience.
• 5+ year’s progressive HR experience in Business Partner area with preferred managerial experience.
• Proven ability to do presentations/trainings.
• Strong communication, organization and planning skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities, processes and procedures.
• Proven ability to review, analyze, and present data to meet needs of business partner or to support business rationale for decisions.
• Participative management style, advocate of team concept.
• Knowledge of government regulations relating to labor practices, benefits, and HR policy.
• Proven experience in Employee Relations.
