The Expertise We’re Looking For
• Eight-plus years of experience in campaign/audience management
• Five-plus years of people management experience – with 2-plus years in client service roles working with leading Fortune 500 brands
• Experience directly managing campaign/audience managers
• MBA and agency experience preferred
• Outstanding consultative, critical thinking, analytical and communication skills with ability to operate strategically and build effective stakeholder partnerships
• Combination of experience as technologist, functional expert, consultant, and leader
• Proven track record of driving process and technological improvements that improve operational scale and productivity
• Proven ability to influence others across the organization
• Experience partnering across marketing and IT teams to help create and deliver campaign/audience management solutions
• Strong knowledge of campaign management solutions (IBM Unica, Salesforce, Adobe Campaign)
• Strong knowledge of DMPs (e.g., Adobe Audience Manager, BlueKai)
• Ability to drive cross-team partnerships and initiatives
• Adept at solving problems that span business, analytics and technology
• Proven record of leading, growing and attracting exceptional teams
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with personalization technologies or products is plus
The Purpose of Your Role
The VP, Campaign/Audience Management is a leader who shares our passion for data, processes and technology. The VP is expected to be a thought leader who will generate innovative ideas for how we integrate marketing data, technology, and analytics to help the marketing organization enable targeted experiences. He/she will focus on campaign operations, resource management, quality as well experimenting with new technologies to enhance our customer targeting. Central to their role will be partnering with media and technology teams; and providing thought leadership related to all areas of marketing data. This VP will play a pivotal role in evaluating and helping make recommendations around the use of new or existing tools, processes and capabilities (e.g. technologies and methodologies).
The Skills You Bring
• You serve as a consultative partner to stakeholders across media, marketing, technology, tag management, testing and optimization, and reporting
• You stay abreast of new marketing technologies and tools (campaign/audience management, data management, agile, campaign design), industry best practices, and advancements in the campaign/audience management sphere.
• You develop and present POVs and strategic recommendations to advance targeting capabilities
• You operate with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment and have great attention to detail and are able to multitask and adapt quickly
• You have hands on experience developing using key digital marketing analytics tools (IBM Unica, Adobe Campaign/Target/1:1, Salesforce, Adobe Audience Manager)
• You have excellent planning, project management, and leadership skills.
