We are seeking a Vice President to support our national Healthcare Capital Markets team. The position will be located in Dallas, TX, New York, NY, or Boston, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter possessing strong analytical skills, customer service and sales aptitude, business acumen and strong sales and leadership potential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Perform complex financial analyses with minimal supervision, including cash flow projections, Argus valuation models, corporate finance models and sensitivity analyses
• Manage underwriting, due diligence and closing process for sales and financing transactions
• Prepare offering memoranda for transactions
• Review and analyze client’s quantitative portfolio data, legal documents and other materials as part of project due diligence process
• Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, healthcare and real estate market data for input into project specific deliverables
• Read and comprehend with minimal assistance closing reports (Environmental, Title, Property Conditions, Appraisal) to execute transactions to closing
• Assist with preparation of client deliverables and presentations demonstrating value-add to the client
• Prepare proposals and offering materials for new or existing assignments and pursuits utilizing effective work planning capabilities
• Participate and/or manage investor client relationships
• Assist in client relationship management (track performance, develop reports)
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree with a strong record of academic achievement - concentration in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or Accounting Majors preferred
• 5-10 years of related work experience in real estate is preferred
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
• Real Estate Brokers or Salesperson license is a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Superior proficiency in ARGUS, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable interfacing directly with a demanding client base
• Self-starter, team player, and strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to think independently and bring alternate points of view to the discussion
• Ability to analyze and translate qualitative and quantitative data into strategic deliverables and business opportunities
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and business maturity
