Business Overview:
This position will act as both a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for an assigned client group. He/she will work directly with assigned business / function areas to align people and organizational strategies to business strategies and objectives while applying the appropriate level of confidentiality.
Our HRBP’s helps drive the understanding and adoption of HR programs, managing the execution of program activities for assigned clients. They support the HR service delivery model and facilitate broader HR support from HR Centers of Excellence (COEs).
This position reports to the HR Business Partner for Securities Services NAR.
Responsibilities:
• Partner closely with senior leaders to establish credibility as a trusted advisor to influence and support key strategic and operational decisions
• Facilitate development and execution of talent strategy with covered clients, including taking a lead role with recruiting and partnering with internal staffing COE resources.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and Talent & Org Development teams to ensure a smooth and successful onboarding process.
• Understand the operating model for covered clients, and assess impact of any changes on existing talent
• Understand market forces and business strategy, and translate those requirements to talent-related requirements
• Facilitate career management and planning in alignment with Group policies
• Identify critical metrics to assess and measure impact and results
• Facilitate organizational change management and help leaders to align communication, behavior, and infrastructure to support the desired changes
• Mitigate risk by ensuring appropriate escalation / investigation of performance, conduct and other ER related matters
Needs assessment:
• Support clients’ coverage and identify emerging talent issues before they impact the clients strategy fulfillment
• Leverage employee feedback and/or interviews to maintain or build awareness of covered population, issues and challenges
• Leverage HR COE teams as relevant to conduct assessments
• Socialize hypotheses with recommended actions and options for remediation with client leaders
• Continually assess the HR implications of client-driven strategic options and proactively communicate with Management
• Support the business / function unit's talent interests within the HR organization
• Provide insight to the Shared Service Center (HR SSC) to produce and/or update functional reports and metrics; present interpretation of results to assigned business / function areas
Monitor Culture and Drive Change:
• Represent BNPP values and design change initiatives and programs to support organizational culture
• Assess employee attitudes and track trends in employee behaviors
• Support HR initiatives across calendar year and keep the line up to date on forthcoming initiatives
• Facilitate the adoption of HR policies and practices and educate leaders and managers regarding HR capabilities
• Participate as required with internal, external and government audits
• Support ‘One HR’ culture, mutual accountability and respect within HR team
Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications:
• 6 years + of progressive HR experience, with related industry experience.
• 5 years + of experience leading projects and helping to foster/create a positive working environment
• 5 years + experience designing, building and implementing HR functional programs, policies, tools and procedures
• 5 years + of experience of successfully managing multiple priorities & projects through successful delivery and implementation under time, budget and deadline pressures
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong ability to partner and lead specialty functions of Human Resources (e.g., compensation, learning & development, mobility, employee relations) desired with a mix of operational, strategic and systems thinking experience
• Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks, organizations and ongoing community involvement
• Experience working with a service delivery model that includes shared services
• Proven success in working in a fast-paced growing business environment
• Experience working collaboratively to facilitate the delivery of HR support in numerous locations
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Management, Organization Development or related field
• SPHR or SHRM-SCP desired
