• Develop strategy and oversee implementation of Financial Protection marketing programs.
• Lead marketing initiatives for product launches and promotion of existing products. Initiatives will support a broad range of business objectives, including sales, earnings, customer acquisition and retention.
• Provide recommendations and consultation services outside of marketing at the officer level, including participating in planning groups where he/she acts as marketing expert
• Responsible for socializing and ensuring alignment of marketing programs to Financial Protection strategic initiatives, as well as AXA’s overall brand positioning and guidelines.
• Initiate and oversee all steps of development of integrated marketing programs, including:
• Early engagement of other teams within Financial Protection Line of Business (e.g., Distribution, Product Development, Advanced Markets), Marketing & Communications (Insight & Analytics, Brand & Customer Experience, Digital & Multichannel and Corporate Communications), as well as Legal and Compliance as necessary and from time to time as needs arise.
• Articulation of value proposition to target customers and other key stakeholders (e.g., advisors, consultants, firm gatekeepers), including initiation of positioning research as needed
• Development of strategic brief, built on deep understanding of needs of end-customers and key stakeholders, informed by appropriate research, and articulation of required elements for production and promotion across mediums (print, online, digital)
• Manage process from end to end until production and delivery
• Seek feedback, qualitative and quantitative, on success of discrete promotional materials and integrated campaigns. Track results, implement required improvements and monitor results.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ideally ten+ years product marketing experience, acting independently or as mid-level manager, leading marketing or sales efforts of financial products (such variable annuities, life insurance products, mutual funds or other investment offerings)
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong understanding of financial markets and product categories
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Strong project management skills; Strong ability to multitask and operate across multiple projects
• Solid Microsoft Office skills: PowerPoint, Word and Excel
