Description
The External Wholesaler is responsible for promotion, training, and support of OneAmerica’s products, appropriate planning systems, and advanced sales/product solutions to the Independent Brokerage distribution channel. The promotion, training, and support may take many forms such as: producer onsite visits, webinars, phone calls, and other forms of communications. In addition, this position will create and drive our Onboarding program for new General Agents. This role also collaborates with various departments within the Home Office in support of the producers and the distribution in achieving production and recruiting goals.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree, experience using an economics based planning system (i.e. LEAP and/or Wealth Building Cornerstones) and knowledge of advanced sales concepts (i.e. executive compensation, retirement planning, charitable giving and estate planning) is preferred. Three years of field life insurance sales experience, along with previous wholesaling experience plus a CFP, CLU, or ChFC designation(s) is preferred. The position requires extensive travel to make regular contact with OneAmerica’s agencies and producers. Dynamic presentation skills to build strong relationships and ability to understand technical sales ideas and communicate them from a sales perspective is key in this position.
