Major Responsibilities:
• Manage existing investment portfolios and their associated client relationships.
• Communicate capital market views and portfolio strategy to clients and stakeholders.
• Actively participate in new business sales calls and develop prospective client relationships.
• Work closely with account administrators to meet account and client needs including distributions, investment objective changes, and portfolio reviews.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key stakeholders in region including Senior Wealth Advisors, Private Bankers, Wealth Planners, and Trust Administrators.
Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or other business related field.
• Actively progressing towards completion of, or already completed, CFA, CFP, or MBA.
• Position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in the investment management industry.
• Candidate must have experience with asset allocation, individual securities, and manager selection for private wealth and institutional clients.
• Strong presentation skills and interpersonal relationships are a basic requirement of this position.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, complex decision making, strong analytical expertise, and superior organizational skills are expected.
• Excellent verbal skills including public speaking and one-on-one presentations.
• Must be able to handle complex reasoning and have detailed analytical skills.
• Organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Limited travel on the West Coast for client service and new business presentations.
• Experience with portfolio accounting and order management systems, experience with SEI Trust, Invest, and LongView Trading System preferred.
