You are responsible for overseeing the delivery of all agile-related consulting work. Your organizational design and Agile expertise will help shape the future of the way Fidelity works. In addition, your work as an integral member of the Fidelity Consulting (FC) management team helps to strengthen our internal consulting practice.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
• Education: An MBA degree or equivalent is required
• Experience: You are 8+ years post-MBA with previous experience leading Agile transformation projects, preferably in a consulting capacity. You have a demonstrated track record of success working with large organizations and a proven ability to provide coaching and training for introducing and sustaining change efforts.
The Purpose of Your Role
The purpose of your role is to help lead the transformation of Fidelity’s organization to an Agile model while serving as a vital member of the FC management team. You will do this by partnering with senior leadership teams across the firm, establishing yourself as the thought leader on this topic and developing your team to support this large change effort.
The Skills You Bring
• Deep understanding of, and experience with, Agile concepts and applications
• Ability to coach executives and teams on implementing and scaling Agile
• Experience developing and deploying strategies within a large and complex global organization
• Superior communication skills in a range of settings (e.g. large workshops or public forums, senior level meetings, one-on-ones)
• Ability to coach and mentor teams
• Proven ability to influence senior management
The Value You Deliver
Client Delivery
• Scoping and defining agile transformation work with senior leaders from Fidelity’s business units
• Developing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with key clients
• Overseeing the delivery of agile transformation projects
• Interacting with Fidelity associates at senior levels (e.g. EVPs and SVPs) and helping to build consensus with key stakeholders
• Developing client and stakeholder communication and management strategies
• Developing and delivering thought leadership and training on Agile across Fidelity and within our team
Team Management
• Contributing to the strategic direction of FC as a member of the management team
• Creating a positive work environment that reflects Fidelity’s values of integrity, excellence, and teamwork
• Leading initiatives to strengthen FC and propel the organization toward its goals, particularly as it relates to the upskilling of the workforce on the Agile model
• Providing coaching, mentoring, and career guidance on a formal and informal basis
• Managing the professional development of direct reports - typically four to six staff (Vice Presidents, Directors, Management Consultants, Consulting Analysts)

Fidelity Consulting (FC) is a 90 person consulting group within Fidelity Investments. The group’s mission is to partner with senior Fidelity leadership teams as a trusted advisor to solve their most critical business issues. The primary areas of focus for the consulting practice are strategy development, agile transformation, and growth strategy. Typical engagements involve identifying and launching growth initiatives, managing or facilitating cross-enterprise initiatives, or addressing difficult operational issues. In addition to its core mission of providing consulting services, FC develops strong leadership talent to fill critical management positions across the firm.
