The Investment and Pension Solutions (IPS) Business Finance team is looking for an experienced Director to support the Global Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) business within Prudential’s Retirement business unit. This position will support the business in PRT transaction activity, identifying and evaluating financial risks and capital considerations. This will involve working closely with the Global PRT business leaders to support their growth and strategic initiatives, advise them on solutions to optimize capital, maximize profitable growth, propose solutions to manage risk and economic / accounting volatility, support sales pipeline and present insightful financial results. This position requires strong analytical skills, an understanding of insurance products, a strategic mindset and an ability to work in a cross functional team environment. The role will allow you to work as a financial strategic advisor to one of the fastest growing and highly visible businesses in Prudential. This will provide an opportunity to learn and practice leadership, technical and influencing skills; provide opportunities to present to senior business and corporate leaders, lead high value-added strategic projects and work in a dynamic, collegial and fast paced business environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Support strategic initiatives throughout the business, including identification of revenue growth opportunities and strategic projects
• Support Research & Development of new products
• Support business expansion into new countries around the globe
• Provide analysis of Global PRT business drivers to assist Business in developing pricing assumptions.
• Provide insightful reporting, financial metrics and pertinent trends to enable better business decision making
• Analyze financial impact of significant transactions and developing a process for forecasting and creating financial plans for these types of transactions
• Analyze results from key competitors, identifying business opportunities in target markets /
segments
• Partner with Actuarial, Capital Management, Treasurers, Enterprise Risk Management, Global Portfolio Management and ALM Finance to execute strategic projects that support business growth
• Provide support in the production of quarterly GAAP, Statutory and Capital forecast and financial plans
• Requires strong leadership, analytical, problem solving and communication skills. Must have a mindset of strategic thinking and application
• Strong understanding of insurance products and experience with capital management

Qualifications:
• 8-10 years of experience is required
• MBA or CFA is desired but not required
• Prior experience in Corporate Finance functions will be preferred
• Prior experience in life insurance, annuities or pension will be preferred
