The Expertise We’re Looking For
• BA/BS degree is required
• 10+ years’ related work experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibilities in a complex enterprise or matrixed environment
• Background in Program Management or Business / Marketing Operations is required. Marketing Technology or Product Management experience is optimal. Background in Marketing, Operations, or IT will be considered. Preference for candidates with experience in Agile.
The Purpose of Your Role
The purpose of your role is to lead a team responsible for (a) delivering communications that support sales, service and relationship interactions and (b) serving as front-line support for the distribution tools leveraged by sales and service teams. Your team supports thousands of sales and service reps across multiple business lines and platforms, manages thousands of communications delivered through print, email and web channels. You’ll drive and execute a vision for scalable business operations for distribution content and tools – including but not limited to: charter development and governance, best practices and standards, program management / work intake, prioritization management, platform support intake and management, and reporting.

• You will be accountable for driving vision for distribution content and tools and mobilizing teams across the organization to implement and support it

How Your Work Impacts the Organization
The Distribution Content and Tools team within Fidelity’s Personal Investing unit produces and oversees communications distributed through thousands of sales and service representatives or directly through online client interactions. These communications are critical in supporting the client experience and supporting the sale and service teams’ ability to serve our clients. Based on the sheer volume and breadth of work that the team supports, the Director and team are considered communication Subject Matter Experts to teams across the enterprise and uniquely positioned to make connections across teams in the interest of the business and the client.
