Position Summary:
The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key role within Ditech, responsible for leading and supporting our financial planning processes, as well as providing visibility to and analyzing financial results, trends and KPIs. The position will partner with key stakeholders across the company to create budgets and forecasts, and identify opportunities to improve financial and operational results.
Essential Functions/Specific Duties:
• Help lead the development, consolidation and execution of annual budgets and monthly reforecast activities, including scenario planning and other related financial deliverables
• Ensure stakeholders receive timely, accurate and meaningful financial and operational information to support decision making
• Analyze financial plans and forecasts by clearly presenting key issues and trends, and conduct in-depth business performance and risk/opportunity analyses
• Work closely with business leaders to report, manage and control operating results, with a key focus on overhead costs and drivers
• Design and pull reports from financial reporting system, in support of consolidating and reviewing companywide forecasts and actual results
• Provide value added variance analyses to highlight issues or opportunities and promote understanding of necessary changes
• Provide support in preparing senior level management presentations, including charts and graphs highlighting key drivers and takeaways
• Perform standard and ad hoc analyses, providing insightful views into the company’s operations and financial performance
Qualifications/Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; MBA preferred
• Experience: 7+ years of relevant finance or related experience, preferably in financial services industry.
