Description
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Participate in the setting up of different investment accounts.
Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reports and commission statements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Answer office calls. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
2. Service current customers. This duty is performed daily, about 40% of the time.
3. Process new accounts. This duty is performed daily, about 25% of the time.
4. Follow up on tracking alerts and exceptions. This duty is performed daily, about 25% of the time.
5. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. This duty is performed annually.
6. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc, plus 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS
Ability to use common sense understanding in order to carry out simple multi-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with limited variables.
