JOB DESCRIPTION
ICE Data Services is seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Derivatives Product Specialist who, as an expert on Derivatives services (Valuation, Market Data, Pricing Platform), will help our direct Sales Teams close new sales opportunities and support existing business with ICE Data Services Clients including brokerage houses, prime brokers, banks, hedge funds, corporations and asset managers.
Responsibilities:
• Position, demonstrate, and provide support for derivative products and services with the overall objective to grow revenue and ensure that ICE maintains a dominant position;
• Work closely with sales to identify opportunities and provide value-added solutions adapted to the client business.
• Address any technical questions related to the methodology used to generate derived market data (volatility surface, curves, forwards...)
• Update and train internally the ICE Data Services Sales teams on new releases and major fixes;
• Maintain clear records of activity including CRM, Call reports, Service Requests and Weekly Activity Reports.
• Domain expert to assist clients in maximizing their investment in ICE market data and revaluation services. This requires and ability to converse fluently about trading, risk management and market data and revaluation.
• Responsible for consulting with our diverse and sophisticated customer base (hedge funds, investment banks, proprietary traders and utilities) and fulfilling their market data and revaluation requirements in a timely and professional manner.
• Working with sales to identify opportunities and deliver value-added solutions to enhance our clients’ market data and revaluations business.
• Maintaining effective communication with our clients on any issues relating to derivative valuations and market data, addressing queries and price challenges in a time-sensitive market ensuring client satisfaction.
• Ability to facilitate high-level strategy presentations on ICE market data and revaluation products to key decision makers in the region.
• Shaping future product development by providing product managers with actionable feedback on the latest trends, analysis competitive landscape, requirements for product localization, regulations and market practices.
• Provide critical feedback to product management on product enhancements. Monitor progress and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a quantitative type of major
• 3+ years of experience at financial institutions
• Experience and knowledge in one or more of the following markets: Equities, Interest Rates, Commodities (Base Metals & Energy products), Foreign Exchange & Credit Derivatives.
• Listed and OTC Derivatives product knowledge
• Superior analytical skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Attends and participates in company and department level functions inside and outside of the office
• Demonstrates an understanding of the urgent nature of our business and the need to proactively find and fix problems quickly and effectively takes ownership and follows through on decisions; doesn’t minimize or forget about problems
