KPMG is currently seeking a Manager/Director in Risk Strategy & Compliance - Operations & Compliance Risk for our KPMG Risk Consulting practice.
Responsibilities:
• Manage large-scale banking business transformation initiatives focused on delivering strategic, operational, technical, and/or product development change, such as integrations and deployments, mergers and acquisitions, enhancements, business process improvement and re-engineering, performance improvement, and new product development
• Perform business and systems analysis activities through the project lifecycle including scope definition, business case development, requirements gathering, functional and technical design, vendor assessment, test script development, training strategy and implementation, and deployment and implementation assistance
• Assist in the development and presentation of clear and concise deliverable presentations
• Support business development activities by assisting in the identification of new target clients, building business relationships with key executives, and developing and presenting proposals
• Provide oversight and leadership to KPMG team members regarding deliverables, project plans, and performance management
Additional Responsibilities for Director:
• Lead business development efforts for primary target clients
• Provide a leadership role on KPMG thought leadership efforts
• Serve as a leader in recruiting and retention efforts to develop the practice
Qualifications:
• A minimum of five years of experience in commercial banking, treasury services, cash management, and/or retail banking and experience in front and back office operations, sales and service, document imaging, branch image capture, payables, receivables, liquidity management, credit card processing, and exposure to business-to-business financial supply chain is a plus
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, master's degree from an accredited college/university and prior consulting experience preferred
• Diversified background in card services or commercial and corporate banking, including knowledge of banking and card products and services, sales, operations, policies, and procedures
• Working knowledge of payment types such as check, ACH, wire, and card
• Transaction services operations and systems experience
• Project management experience and the ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team
• Travel may be up to 80-100%
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Additional Qualifications for Director:
• A minimum of eight years of applicable recent work experience
• Demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, project management and delivery, and business development
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives
