Job Description
Vice President, Business Banking Specialist
The Business Banking Specialist is responsible for supporting retail banking centers in the development of our Community Banking Segment which is responsible for building relationships with small business with revenues up to $2 million and lending needs up to $500 thousand.

Position Responsibilities:
• Achieve annual individual production goal of new Community Banking loans.
• Execute High-Quality Sales Processes; includes development of Pre-Call Plans, execute high-quality "Challenger-Discovery" calls ("quality conversations") with business owners that are effective, consultative, memorable (deliver maximum value).
• Provide quality coaching and support to banking centers to develop their maximum sales potential, as evidenced by improved performance in booking Community Banking loans (quantity and quality).
• Ongoing development and relationship building with external referral sources (COIs).
• Evidence strong time management skills that mirror individual sales plan, including pipeline management; application preparation and submission; clearing stipulations; updating Pipeline database and TRIO.
• Communicate and review Pipeline weekly with key constituents (Retail District Manager and Banking Center Managers). Publish Pipeline to District/Region on a weekly basis.
• Attend and participate in regular sales support functions, including Monday "Win Labs" Friday touchbase, monthly 1:1 with Group Manager, and monthly Sales Forum.
Travel
Some travel is required of this position.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university OR 12 years of financial services experience
• 8 years of business development experience including small business lending
• 8 years of portfolio management experience
• 5 years of credit sales/underwriting experience
