The Director, Network Value Delivery is an experienced healthcare consultant, change agent and people leader who will grow the consulting capability and footprint of the company. Cotiviti’s first-in-market analytics enables a high value proposition for both healthcare payors and providers. In this role you will be leading the strategy and execution of a portfolio of clients, collaborating a team of highly talented consultants, analysts, clinicians, solutions and technology developers and innovators to set aggressive goals and execute on them with the team.
This role is for a professional who is passionate about creating a high value healthcare system, helping others succeed and with proven ability to execute in a dynamic environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Become a Trusted Partner to our Clients.Leads a portfolio of multiple clients, serving as a primary client contact to facilitate and navigate complex client relationships to sustain and build upon the value proposition. This role will focus on delivering consistently exceptional service and position the company and the brand for future growth. This role provides strategic and team leadership to all internal resources within the Network Vale Delivery team and manages relationships with Senior Level contacts at our clients.
• Create Client Value.Develop, size, communicate and support execution of client opportunities associated with implementation of High Value Care recommendations. Ultimate success is having our clients tout achieved value to them.
• Strategy and Execution.Recognizes trends and their impact on the business. Accurately forecasts opportunities and obstacles, clearly defines a future state and sets the direction, leading all parties toward the goal. Participates in and leads the strategic initiatives for the business. Develops a coordinated strategy for presenting services across all clients and business stakeholders, driving adoption and value.
• Business Support.Strategically plans solutions targeted at enhancing relationships with existing and prospective clients. Provides market feedback and identifies opportunities for new solution development and enhancement. Identifies new client and business opportunities and shares leads with business development team.
• Organizational Leadership.Drives high performance and develops strong relationships across a matrixed organization. Exhibits strong organizational leadership internally and externally. Leads the development and creation of the necessary infrastructure to provide high value and relevant services that enhance our value proposition. This role is responsible for the day-to-day strategy and delivery of the Network Value Delivery Operation engagement with the client.
• Team Leadership.Recruits, coaches and motivates a staff of highly competent consultants and extended team members to help them achieve their highest level of potential. Effectively supports the goals of the business. Fosters an environment of empowerment, openness, inclusion and objectivity all while striving to deliver solutions that benefit our clients and our business.
Requirements
EDUCATION:
• Bachelors in Health Information Management, Public Health, Business or related filed – Required
• Masters in Health Services Administration, MBA, Public Health or related field - Preferred
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• 8+ years of experience in health plan, hospital system, medical group environment or healthcare consulting, required
• 5+ years in a client-facing, role presenting to c-suite level executives, required
• 5+ years in relationship management and/or account management role, preferred
• 5+ years leadership experience: people and projects, with demonstrated ability to grow talent
• Deep knowledge and expertise of healthcare industry in one or more of these domains: health plan administration, health system administration, health economics, health policy, health informatics, physician contracting and reimbursement, government programs (Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP), value-based payment models, and/or physician compensation, required
• Proven ability to communicate complex health care and financial topics and engage in discussion with executives about these topics
• Proven ability to establish, build and maintain relationships with C level decision makers as a trusted strategic advisor
• Ability to drive change and influence executive decision-making within an organization
• Proven ability to design and lead initiatives tied to key organizational strategic priorities
• Ability to lead, persuade, influence and negotiate as it relates to value solutions
• Ability to travel 50% or more
