Position Summary:
It is the responsibility of the Director of Inside Sales to identify and pursue sales opportunities and build strong commercial relationships by telephone with appointed AGCO dealerships, in line with vendor agreement and sales plan, in order to realize the formulated sales objectives on penetration rate, new business volume and shareholder profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the company’s Inside Sales team and support them in assisting dealership personnel and field staff whenever possible to contribute to sales goals
• Support and promote a culture of teamwork and accountability within the Inside Sales Team to ensure consistency in service levels and work product
• Effectively establish and manage multiple relationships within the organization
• Develop, support and implement approved sales programs, initiatives and strategies
• Set and track KPI’s and performance targets for staff
• Identify opportunities and implement improvements to the sales administration process
• Ensure compliance and legal policies and procedures are met within the sales administration process
• Professionally and effectively manage sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service and ensuring dealers’ expectations are being both managed and exceeded
• Work collaboratively with internal departments to execute sales strategies as the company promotes enhancements and/or releases of new products
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities in cooperation with dealer and field staff
• Follow up on sales and fee opportunities resulting from portfolio analysis
• Support dealers and partners in their daily business activities
• Manage business relationship with dealers in order to increase business, income and profitability in the short and long term while adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
• Analyze and understand relevant market trends and data
• Monitor and proactively manage service levels to ensure shareholders’ expectations are being exceeded
• Recruit, onboard and develop new team members
Experience / Skill Set Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree, an emphasis in business is preferred
• 5 – 10 years of sales experience with a demonstrated track record of over-achievement
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Positive attitude, professionalism and personal integrity
• High energy, enthusiasm, motivation to learn and drive for success
• Proven ability to develop and initiate strategies to improve sales opportunities
• Strong ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
