Job Purpose (Job Summary):
Senior Analyst, Privacy Services will work with key stakeholders throughout the organisation to enable privacy and data protection obligations to be met whilst supporting overarching business objectives. In this role, you will be part of a privacy function focusing initially on the EMEA region, but then to focus on expanding to a global capability.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
• Identify evolving privacy/data protection requirement and risks inherent in the Company’s operations and in the development of new products and services.
• Assist the Privacy function with the design and implementation of company-wide privacy/data protection policies, processes, and procedures.
• Assist business functions with the design of function-level privacy/data protection processes and procedures.
• Support maintenance (by data owners) of an inventory of personal data processing. Educate the data owners on their responsibilities (what is data, how is it used, who has access to it, documentation required, etc.).
• Promote activities to foster privacy/data protection awareness within the organization and related entities.
• Support training activities to ensure that employees are well-informed on key privacy/data protection issues.
• Support staff and project management on conducting Privacy Impact Assessments including risk analysis and mitigation.
• Assist in systematic privacy/data protection compliance reviews, including any third-party premises where appropriate.
• Assist with investigations into privacy/data protection breaches and complaints
• Assist with processes for data subject rights and requests, and ongoing tracking and monitoring of such processes and requests
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable privacy/data protections laws and accreditation standards, and monitor advancements in privacy/data protection technologies to ensure organizational adaptation and compliance.

Qualifications
Work Experience / Knowledge:
• At least 5 years of experience in the privacy/security discipline
• Understanding of the financial services industry (asset management preferred)
• Building and managing relationships at various levels of the organisation
• Working in large / global corporate environments involving multiple businesses
• Strong understanding of audit/risk management methodologies and regulatory requirements pertaining to privacy and/or data security
• Experience working with staff from external support organisations (e.g. consultancy firms)
• Knowledge and understanding of global privacy legislation (e.g. EU GDPR, PIPEDA, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to translate privacy and/or security regulations and/or standards into workable and implementable solutions
• Risk identification, assessment (e.g. RCSA), response and mitigation planning, and reporting
• Project management experience desired
• Collation of material for reporting (including developing relevant metrics)
