Job Purpose (Job Summary):
Analyst, Global Privacy Office will support the privacy function in working with key stakeholders throughout the global organization to enable privacy and data protection obligations to be met whilst supporting overarching business objectives.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
◦ Assist in identify evolving privacy/data protection requirement and risks inherent in the Company’s operations and in the development of new products and services.
◦ Assist the privacy function with the design and implementation of company-wide privacy/data protection processes and procedures.
◦ Assist business functions with design, implementation of function-level privacy/data protection processes and procedures.
◦ Assist in the identification, implementation, and maintenance of organization privacy/data protection policies and procedures.
◦ Assist business functions and project management on conducting Privacy Impact Assessments including risk analysis and mitigation.
◦ Assist in systematic privacy/data protection compliance reviews
◦ Assist with investigations into privacy/data protection breaches and complaints
◦ Assist with tracking and monitoring of processes for data subject rights and requests
◦ Maintain current knowledge of applicable privacy/data protections laws and accreditation standards, and monitor advancements in privacy/data protection technologies to ensure organizational adaptation and compliance.
◦ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Work Experience / Knowledge:
• At least 2 years of experience in the privacy/security discipline
• Understanding of the financial services industry is desirable
• Building and managing relationships within a team and with key business partners
• Exposure to working in large / global corporate environments involving multiple businesses
• Knowledge and understanding of global privacy legislation (e.g. EU GDPR, PIPEDA, etc.)
• Business analysis experience highly desired
• Collation of material for reporting (including developing relevant metrics)

• Strong communicator and presenter (written and verbal)
• Strong analysis and assessment skills to evaluate risks

Formal Education:(minimum requirement to perform job duties)
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Information Security, Privacy, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science is preferred or commensurate...
• ...relevant work experience
License/Registration/Certification:(minimum requirement to perform job duties)
• Desirable to either have, or to be working towards, a certification in Privacy and/or Security (e.g. CIPP/E, CISSP or similar)
