As a(n) Program Management Director within PNC's Strategic Services and Enterprise Architecture organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH.
The Program Director role includes overseeing program managers to ensure the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy.. as well as the ownership of proactively identifying and leading efforts to achieve both successful execution and the maturity of capabilities and their application.The program director for Sales and Service Platform (EDGE) will drive increased structure, rigor and routine around the cross program activities, collaborating and engaging across technology, the business, Finance, TCoE, and other partner groups. The role will share accountability for overall team and program results, linking strategy to execution and overseeing the tactical oversight and driving of progress and the resulting status outcomes. The program director will evaluate the routines and progress to date, and enhance the application of tools and best practices with a lens on adherence to methodology and program/project excellence, while engaging and delivering in a manner that synchs with business objectives, priorities, and preferences, while supporting the success of technology and testing partners. Close partnership with Risk, Compliance, Finance and Audit is critical, including ensuring activities are held to business case commitments and routines to provide transparency of spend as well as benefit commitments. Through all of these activities, the program director will have responsibility for maturing enterprise program capabilities and their application, including actions that look to leverage and develop tools, templates, approaches in a manner that improves consistency and progress of the organization.
Job Profile
• Oversees program managers to ensure the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy.
• Evaluates and provides guidance during the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; develops strategies to ensure all projects within the program are cohesive and in line with organizational goals.
• Oversight and accountability for the program budget while working to ensure success of the program.
• Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements to programs based on results.
• Builds business relationships to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent experience across multiple distribution channels.

Required Education and Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
