This role requires an individual who is professional and who displays the drive, determination, and self-motivation to meet the needs of our Programs operations. Specifically, your mission will be to service and maintain existing accounts while uncovering opportunities for increasing business.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides professional, courteous service to our clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues.
• Be primary point of contact for all incoming service calls through a call center environment.
• Process quotations, binders, certificates of insurance, new business, renewals, cancellations, endorsements, and first report of claims as needed.
• Maintains complete and accurate files and inputs necessary data on the company’s agency management system.
• Provides a high level of support to our Sales staff in obtaining, maintaining, and expanding business.
• May also be responsible for account rounding and the development of new business as appropriate and in accordance with standard practices, policies, and procedures
• Acts as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve escalated complex service issues. May also negotiate with underwriters and carriers. Troubleshoots claims and billing issues
• Develops new business from existing accounts and contributes to meeting departmental production goals. Identifies and follows-up on cross-selling opportunities when appropriate.
• Execute daily job responsibilities, particularly coding of claims presented to Trust Veterinarians.
• Maintain service standards as outlined in the procedure manual.
• Maintain confidentiality requirements regarding insurance coverage.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree preferred
• Hold Illinois producer license appropriate to the position or secure within 60 days and meet bonding requirements.
• Superior customer service and problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written English communications kills
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems
• Ability to work in a positive team environment
• Ability to work a regular, full-time work schedule at HUB’s facility(s) and ability to travel on business if required
