Description
This position will be responsible for interfacing with outsourced vendors, managing services, and acting as the primary liaison with clients and advisors, as well as other business functions in the Enterprise.
Core Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the day-to-day oversight and interface with the trust outsourcing vendor providing custodial services including projects and enhancements.
• Working with additional vendors related to things such as fee and billing, trust reporting for year-end compliance, and quarterly disclosures (not all-encompassing).
• Develop operational policies and procedures as it relates to the Trust Company and working with an outsourced custodian.
• Collaborate with additional internal teams such as vendor management, legal, compliance, and marketing, IT and additional affiliates to ensure alignment with Enterprise strategy and approach.
• Ensure Trust Company policies and procedures are aligned with the Enterprise
• Act as a liaison with the RS business line within OneAmerica
• Serve in a co-lead role with the President representing the Trust company in strategy development, audit functions (internal and external), and client contact or sales opportunities
• Responsible for development and implementation of ongoing reporting and monitoring metrics for the Trust Company including for the Board, internal committees and external reporting for the IN DFI.
• Ensure appropriate information security and business continuity guidelines are established and followed.
• Maintain current knowledge of laws and regulation affecting trust and retirement services
• Serve on Trust Company committees
Requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Economics, or related Business Degree)
• Industry certifications desired
• 15+ years of retirement services industry experience;
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Proven knowledge of ERISA, DOL and IRS laws and regulations
• Independent, problem-solving skills
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change and managing through transitions
• Strong technical and data relationship skills (interpreting the data)
• Proven ability to develop strong relationships with various levels within the Enterprise
