Position Overview
Under supervision, analyze and interpret legal documents (of routine to medium complexity) to determine how to incorporate the agreement into the administration systems used by International Administration. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the set up. Analyze business submitted by electronic medium to identify inaccuracies and provide solutions on issues.
Responsibilities
• Analyze and interpret legal documents of routine to medium complexity to determine proper set up and how to incorporate the parameters of the agreement into the administration systems used by International Administration.
• Analyze and research business submitted electronically. Ensure accuracy and proper setup. Appropriately explain any request denials in a clear, concise, professional and client friendly manner.
• Research and analyze other routine requests made by associates.. Create/update/change various parameters to ensure accuracy and proper set up.
• Perform system User Acceptance Testing of any new functionality within the International administration systems.
• Audit and resolve existing inconsistencies of data between systems by using system health reports.
• Prepare monthly reports for local office distribution that track outstanding work. Analyze local office response for compliance and monitor status to ensure work is completed as agreed.
• Maintain relationships with clients and other RGA Re associates to facilitate effective resolution of bill list and/or system treaty issues.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
• 2-5 years of life insurance/reinsurance industry experience
Preferred:
• Reinsurance industry knowledge.
• Progress toward FLMI or other relevant professional accreditation
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Required:
• Basic Word, intermediate SQL/Query and Excel skills
• Intermediate analytical and problem solving skills
• Must possess investigative skills

• Must be flexible and adaptive to change
• Ability to resolve most questions/problems and escalate only the most complex issues to higher levels
