Position Overview
The Internal Communications group is responsible for creating, reviewing, and managing the internal tactics and channels that reach the entire employee audience. We help motivate and engage employees to embrace culture change to accomplish company objectives and go beyond what is required to help Freddie Mac succeed.
The Digital Design & Content Associate will work closely with the Digital Design & Content Manager and other teammates, to create and produce several tactics for the enterprise-wide internal channels of Freddie Mac, often handling time-sensitive and confidential information. A successful candidate will be helping to drive enterprise communications to employees through a variety of channels (intranet, email, digital signage, etc.).
We are looking for a creative, decisive, flexible, energetic person who can drive for results.
Responsibilities Include:
• Writing, editing and scheduling the frequent employee photo feature for the intranet
• Writing, designing, editing and scheduling digital signage content – working with others on the Internal Communications and Design teams to create material
• Serving as a backup for creating and sending morning news email to all employees, daily digital signage review, and daily morning quality check of homepage
• Managing and reviewing the weekly email message to division communications staff
• Other duties may include assisting with all-employee events, managing employee feedback, and coordinating the review process for specific deliverables
Qualifications
• Typically has up to two years of related experience
• College degree in communications, journalism, marketing or other relevant subject or equivalent experience
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint

• Strong organizational skills and flexibility. The ability to adapt to change quickly and to tackle unfamiliar tasks and requests with positive attitude and resourcefulness.
• Collaborative with ability to take direction
• Strong time management skills
• Creative writer/editor who can convey a lot with a small amount of words
