We are currently looking for a qualified Pricing Manager to join our Client Service Team. This position is based in Schaumburg, IL.
Job Overview
The Pricing Manager serves as the point-of-contact for pricing inquiries, proposals, and creation from Sales, Product Management, Finance, other Client Service Team Members.
Responsibilities
• Provide guidance, or if necessary create pricing, for new product launches and promotions, including rate schedules and calculator tools as required for both reference and online quoting (CPQ) assimilation.
• Track and analyze wins and losses to ensure current book pricing and discount thresholds reflect current market conditions report.
• Analyze / model discounted or custom solution quote requests to create a competitive and profitable bid strategy, and consult with BU stakeholders
• as required based on identified risks, uncertainties, opportunities, or significant contract value.
• Collaborate with other Experian Business Units to establish acceptable pricing and revenue sharing for cross-sell proposals.
• Fulfill internal / external Audit requests for pricing approval documentation.
• Contribute to ad-hoc process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare special reporting and analysis for senior management as needed.
• BA/BS required, MBA preferred.
• 5 or more years of B2B pricing experience in a large, complex, matrix organization, with proven results.
• Ability to grasp and translate complex technical and data variables into concrete pricing guidance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Understanding of GAAP revenue recognition principles, billing / order management experience a plus.
• Information Services experience. Auto and / or Credit Data Solutions knowledge helpful.
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Strong PC / internet skills, including Excel and Salesforce.com proficiency.
