Profile Summary:
The Content Marketing Summer Student at Voya Financial offers the right candidate an opportunity to obtain real-world experience working in the exciting space where marketing strategy, project management, content curation and design intersect to create meaningful assets that enhance business outcomes. In collaboration with the Content Marketing team, this intern will contribute to no less than one content development project, and provide tangible, demonstrable value for the business.
Profile Description:
• Content Producer support /Project management – scheduling and leading kick-off calls to ensure creative teams have what they need to begin a project
• Assist with editorial content curation and publishing
• Reviewing writing drafts to ensure they are in-line with strategic briefs and client requests
• Presenting strategies and leading content discussions/brainstorming sessions
• Supporting creation of internal or external PowerPoint decks
• Assist with content submissions to compliance and brand for review
• Reviewing and tagging content types/topics in financial wellness experience
• Assist with quarterly planning pre-work including mapping out projects and scoping time
• Other responsibilities as assigned
Education and Experience:
• Marketing, Communications or Business majors with a strong, demonstrable aptitude for content development are encouraged to apply
• GPA 3.0 or greater
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; and PowerPoint proficiency
• Team player
• Self-motivated, excited about learning, comfortable working in a collaborative environment characterized by open sharing of feedback to achieve optimum outcomes
• Strong communication skills – both writing and verbal
• Detail oriented with outstanding project management capabilities
• Ability to work under multiple deadlines at once
• Available to work 40 hours/week in the summer (10-12 weeks)
