Morgan Stanley Wealth Management provides a range of wealth management products and services for affluent individuals, businesses and institutions. These services include brokerage and investment advisory, financial and wealth planning, credit and lending, cash management, annuities and insurance, retirement and trust.
The Field Strategic Services Team is focused on enhancements and efficiencies for our advisors and service professionals to make it easier for them to work with and service their clients.
The candidate will support the business COO and will be responsible for managing all Communications for the Field Strategic Services organization. In addition to managing and tracking the many communications the team is involved with the candidate will also work across the FSS business to ensure a cohesive and compelling field engagement strategy is being developed by individual product owners. This will involve liaising with the firm’s Marketing and Communications departments and across FSS business partners. Lastly there will be numerous ad-hoc projects driven by senior management covering a variety of strategic initiatives. The position will have interaction with senior leaders of MSWM as well as functional leads across the firm. The role requires an individual with strong project management, communication, marketing, and presentation experience who is capable of multitasking and collaborating with other members of the team.
Primary Responsibilities
• Manage and track all communication channels and materials created by Field
Strategic Services
• Oversee the development of Field Engagement strategies by product owners
within the FSS organization
• Liaise with the firm’s Marketing and Communications departments on collateral
development for strategic initiatives
• Manage all team events and internal programs
• Drive forward strategic projects that impact the day to day business of advisors
and service professionals in our branch network
• Aid in production of persuasive, data informed arguments to drive insight and
help senior management make informed decisions
Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing,
• 3+ years of relevant experience managing communication and marketing
development for large institutions

• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong project management, organization, communication, and marketing
skills
• Ability to manage ambiguity and bring focus with recommendations on solving
tactical and strategic challenges
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, both independently and as part of
a team, and under strict and changing deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills - freely develops networks, builds consensus, and
prioritizes effectively
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite necessary
