Vectra Bank Colorado needs your support and administrative talents! We are excited to offer an opportunity as an Administrative Assistant in our Facilities department to the right candidate.
For those of you who have talents working with employees, vendors and have excellent organization and customer service skills in a support capacity, this position might be great for you!
As our Administrative Assistant, we are expecting this role to juggle many different priorities; however, strong communication skills, exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail with follow through will be critical.
What are we looking for?
Simply stated, we want someone who will:
• Provides a variety of administrative and staff support services to an organizational unit
• Performs a variety of clerical duties, which may include word processing, opening and sorting mail, answering phone, maintaining reports and other pertinent data
• May assist in preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports regarding operations, etc
• May administers various programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the operating unit served
• May serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, facilities, and operations
• Is familiar and complies with applicable company policies and all banking regulations including, but not limited to BSA, USA Patriot/CIP requirements, AML and other regulations
• Thrive on providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers
• Appreciate the opportunity to take initiative and work autonomously
• Provide the calm in the mist of chaotic situations
• Be passionate about facilities, real estate and everything in between
• Be a supportive, positive team player
• Other duties as assigned
Having these qualities, we expect this position to do many things:
• Manage the payment of 100’s of invoices weekly
• Triage all incoming work orders from nearly 40 properties
• Assist in project management – big and small projects
• Have a mastery of Excel, Word, PowerPoint programs & a quick study on industry specific platforms (e.g. Performo, Lease Harbor, FM Solutions etc.)
• Provide exceptional support for real estate, facilities and vendor management
Qualifications
Who should apply?
• Requires High School diploma or equivalent and some office, administrative, clerical, word processing or related experience.
• A combination of education and experience may meet requirements
• Must have a basic knowledge of departmental functions, banking and/or departmental and administrative process and procedures
• Requires word processing, computer and customer service skills
• Good organizational, customer relations and communications skills, both verbal and written
• Some analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems
• Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline
While administrative assistant experience is expected, it is just as important to us that we hire someone who is passionate about people, and likes to make a difference in the place they work.
