Position Description

Job Summary:
The Senior Manager – Cash Logistics is responsible for assisting the General Manager in the attainment of short-term and long-term business and financial results for an assigned market. Responsibilities include providing direction to supervisors and team leaders in the areas of Cash Logistics, Operations, HR, Safety and Security. The incumbent develops strategy and vision to lead and motivate team members to the best results and to meet financial budget objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the General Manager in providing the leadership necessary to organize the market logistics and aggressively develop all product lines within the market
• Lead the Money Processing operations within one of the strategic markets
• Identify ways to improve management of costs, continually improve efficiencies and drive services to positively impact business results in the market
• Provide the leadership necessary to organize and aggressively develop the product lines within the assigned market
• Manage the overall cash market and successfully integrate and partner with all Brink’s product lines
• Establish profitable relationships with all levels of key client and prospect organizations by maintaining good communications and service levels with customers
• Ensure appropriate staff levels to sustain and grow the business throughout the market
• Ensure proper recruitment, selection and training, while mentoring, coaching, and overseeing the development of the management team assigned to the market
• Proactively reduce risk exposure and ensure implementation of measures to reduce worker’s compensation injury costs and security losses within the market
• Establish and maintain accountability on all levels of the market; maintain positive Employee Relations and work environment
• Maintain the highest level of integrity, dignity and standards both on an internal and external basis
• Maintain high ethical standards and protects the Brink’s reputation by delivering high quality, reliable programs and services which meet customer expectations
• Perform other duties as assigned or necessary
Position Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years operations experience in a cash or coin processing environment
• Minimum of 2 year supervisory experience in a production environment
• A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing
• A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses
• Minimum of 21 years of age
Preferred Qualifications:
• Cash handling and coin experience in the secure logistics or banking industry
• Knowledge of lean/process improvement methodologies
• Knowledge of budgeting and planning experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
Professional Skills:
• Strong consultative, analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
