JOB DESCRIPTION
Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with listings, operational departments and client to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post event phases of NYSE events. This role primarily handles events of average complexity to include IPOs, bell ringing ceremonies and client-hosted meetings and conferences. Ensures all events have a seamless turnover from listings to client event marketing back to listings. Establishes opportunities to maximize event visibility/marketing by offering enhancements to create outstanding events. Ensures compliance with NYSE Operating Standards to maintain brand integrity. Is the client’s primary contact both during planning and on property and is responsible for their experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operations:
• Partner across Marketing & Communications team to craft and implement creative and logistical aspects of all events
• Facilitate detailed event logistics for all events, working across multiple service departments, including catering arrangements, presentation materials, audiovisual support, media services, webcasting, photography, security procedures, signage opportunities, gifts, etc.
• Serve as liaison to senior level executives, government officials, and industry leaders throughout event planning process.
• Acts as liaison between the NYSE and client throughout the event process (pre-event, event, post-event). Makes presence known to client at all times during this process. Is available to solve problems and/or suggest alternatives to previous arrangements.
• Oversees his/her client experiences from listings turnover through post event.
• Proactively identifies operational challenges associated with his/her group and works with other departments and client to solve these challenges and/or develop alternative solutions.
• Leads pre-event meetings for assigned groups when necessary.
• Facilitates various meetings as necessary.
• Integrates current trends in the events industry when possible.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Consistently communicate key messages to guests as well as delight them with current and historic facts about the NYSE.

• Displays leadership and ensures consistent, high level service throughout all phases of NYSE events.
• Ensures products and services presented to clients meet or exceed their expectations, create loyalty and leads to increased market share.
• Interacts with guests and client to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels. Effectively responds to and handles opportunities/challenges that may arise.
• Observes service behaviors of associates and provides feedback to individuals; continuously strives to improve service performance.
• Actively solicits feedback from NYSE departments to identify areas for improvement to enhance the client’s experience.
Knowledge and Experience
Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Must have a minimum of (2+) of progressive years in Event Marketing or Conference Services.
• Basic Audio Visual experience essential.
• Financial services industry experience preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
