Jackson National Life Distributors LLC (JNLD) has an opening for a Career Development Program Associate Intern.
Job Purpose
The Career Development internship program provides a highly motivated individual with an opportunity to earn the licensing and training necessary to be considered for a sales career in the financial services industry, Jackson's products, sales and marketing. This is achieved by working on projects entailing: Investment research, building sales presentations, territory management, and creating analysis spreadsheets. The Career Development Program is designed to help you achieve the goals necessary to be considered for a full-time, Internal Wholesaler within approximately 6 months.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Obtains Series 6, 63 and State Life Insurance License registration within 45 days. Additional FINRA licensing may be required.
• Completes assigned projects in a timely manner.
• Learns Jackson's systems, sales model, and products.
• Participates in trainings and develops a talking knowledge with regards to the Financial Services Industry.
• Works with Internal Wholesaler’s to learn about the Jackson culture, wholesaling role, territory management and sales stories.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be detail and process oriented.
• Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication and computer skills and a strong desire to learn and succeed.
• The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing, critical thinking, analytical skills and a drive to succeed.
• Ability to perform Internet research, prepare PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheet and chart creation, collecting and reporting on sales data and working with sales management staff.
• Demonstrated ability to be self-driven and follow through as directed by management.
• Enjoy working in a competitive environment.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Economics preferred
• Experience working in a professional office environment
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
• FINRA Series 6, 63 and State Life Insurance License registration, or ability to achieve it within 45 days. Additional FINRA licensing may be required.
