Provide professional support for AMNA and their clients. Maintain and strengthen account relationships, minimizing risk and maximizing profitability. On a daily basis, responsible for the completion of accurate financial statements, the resolution of problems that arise during the normal valuation/cash investment process and the communication of this information to all interested parties Participate in the conversion of assets and any transitions occurring within the collective fund. Responsible for verification of assets, cash and units by producing formal reconcilements between Invest One; the custodian and the portfolio manager on a daily to monthly schedule. Ensure the clients participation in the collective funds is properly reported to the client through accurate financial statements and tax reporting. The fund accountant manages collective funds with as many as 150 clients, many of them have sensitive and strict requirements. The fund accountant must also prepare documents needed for internal and external audits.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred or comparable work experience for entry level position. General knowledge of securities, trust accounting theories and practices. Familiarity with PC spreadsheets, online systems and a working knowledge of securities settlement and brokerage practice. Possess strong analytical and communication skills and be able to work independently and under pressure while adhering to strict deadlines.
