The Strategic Resource Manager (SRM) plays a vital role in the growth and development of our sales culture. The SRM for Employee Benefits reports to the Chief Operating Officer with dotted line accountability to the Employee Benefits Practice Leader, and assists Management and Producers to achieve their goals. The SRM also works closely with our corporate headquarters in Chicago to deliver ongoing initiatives to all locations of the HUB region, and is an indirect report to the Corporate Sales Enablement, Assistant Vice President.
Deemed as the HUB Product Liaison, SRMs promote the HUB International creative & administrative marketing solutions to help generate new business and client retention. They are responsible for educating both Clients and Producers on the tools and resources that HUB has to offer, while finding innovative ways to showcase HUB’s unique capabilities.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Sales Enablement
• Interface directly with Location Managers, Producers, Prospects, and Clients to present HUB value adds and benefits in sales meeting and new business pitch environments
• Assist with development of scrubbed lead lists, RFPs, capabilities presentations, benchmarking reports, premium volume stats, and sell sheets
• Ability to develop and execute vertically driven sales campaigns based on Producer’s needs
Technology Tools and Resources
• Main point of contact for all Producer and Client facing tools & resources
• Present in-person and webinar hosted training sessions for individual Producers and office locations
• Main point of contact for HUB intranet system assisting with navigation and posting regional content
• Work directly with third party vendors and receive regular corporate training
• Work with CSO to onboard new Producers and acquired locations to promote their merger with HUB utilizing HUB’s integration checklist and other resources
Marketing
• Work with corporate Marketing & Communications in the creation of and execution of advertisements, microsites, email blasts, and enhancement of Producer social media presence
• Work with Business Development Team in the development and execution of Producer call campaigns
• Plan and execute all steps of HUB participation at tradeshows
Sales Support & Administration
• Administrator for all tools & resources including activation of new accounts, reporting, data mining, troubleshooting, and tracking utilization
• Responsible for monthly and annual CRM sales reports and auditing integrity of data
• General problem solver and navigator for employees looking for HUB resources
Travel:
Travel is dependent on the needs and geographic spread of the HUB or HUB Region.
Desired Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience in the Employee Benefits insurance industry preferred. Overall knowledge of insurance is helpful, active insurance license is preferred, but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
• Experience with a CRM system is a plus
• Marketing solutions mentality
• Creative critical thinker and problem solver, breaking complex issues into simple solutions
• Exceptional communicator with customers, sales teams, and technical resources
• Highly organized master of multi-tasking with an inherent sense of urgency
• Good rapport with Management and Producers – they are your customers!
